Description
Rebecca Hardwick (soprano) and George Chambers (tenor) explore music for two solo voices, centered around Stockhausen's theatrical song cycle IN THE SKY I AM WALKING (1972). The concert also includes the world premiere of Daniel Lewis-Fardon's new work written especially for the two singers and two 'Ode Machines' from Cornelius Cardew's epic 'The Great Learning.'
Pianist Simon Smith performs Stockhausen's PIANO PIECE XII in the first half.
